2 envelopes from Mid-Century Wisconsin
I got a nice little pack in the mail recently which contained two old Kodak developing envelopes, both full of old medium format negatives, about 300 in all. Although they were purchased from a seller in Florida, they all appear to be from the Wisconsin area.
Using the vehicles to date them, they seem to range from the 1940s through the early 1960s.
There are some scenes from the businesses of “Main Street” Wisconsin.
And some more typical shots from the early suburbs.
One of the most interesting images I’ve come across so far in this batch, is of this vintage GMC Heavy moving truck pulling a house!
That’s about all I’ve scanned so far. More will come eventually and as they do you can see the whole batch at This Link.
Other subjects in this batch include: Wisconsin, Milwaukee, La Crosse, farms, tractors, main street, USA, businesses, schools, cars, trucks, people, weddings, christmas, children, fashions, swimsuits, swimming, snow, dogs, camping, fishing, etc…
